Performance
主讲人:严宇 博士

地点:36365线路检测中心no1102报告厅
主讲人简介:
本科毕业于中国地质大学(北京);硕士毕业于West Virginia University,
University of Florida, with Graduate Research Assistantship (GPA 4.0/4.0);博士毕业于University of Florida, Graduate School Fellowship (GPA 3.9/4.0)。
Participated in one research project
funded by the WVDOT and three research projects funded by the FDOT (Three
project final reports available online).
One TRB compendium paper on the pavement
permeability evaluation, one paper accepted by the International Journal of
Pavements (IJP) on the pavement density measurement, one paper published by the
Road Material and Pavement Design (RMPD) on the cracking performance evaluation
of alternative polymer-modified binder and oral presentation was made at EATA
2015 (Stockholm, Sweden).
One paper on the correlations between
fracture properties of asphalt binder and asphalt mixtures is under review for
publication at Transportation Research Record (TRR) and one paper on the effect
of incorporating reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) on cracking performance of
the surface friction courses is under review for publication at RMPD and oral
presentation at the AAPT.
Reviewed several papers for TRR and AAPT
since 2013.
Research program is centered on the
understanding of fundamental mechanisms that control the behavior and
durability of asphalt material and pavement systems. I am familiar with asphalt
material, including aggregate, asphalt binder and pavement issues in Florida. I
have extensive experience in research on reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and
recycled asphalt shingle (RAS) and have served on two FDOT research projects on
this topic.
主讲内容简介:
The UF research team arguably has the most
extensive experience in the world regarding the determination and use of
mixture fracture parameters to evaluate potential cracking performance in the
field. The binder fracture energy test recently developed is able to
appropriately rank different binder types according to expected, and to some
extent known, cracking performance trends. The hot-mix-asphalt (HMA) fracture
mechanics model and energy ratio (ER) parameter derived from the model and measured
fracture properties have been extensively correlated to field cracking
performance of pavements in Florida. The new mixture conditioning approach that
considers both oxidative aging and moisture damage has been shown to more
accurately simulate the long-term effects of aging on degradation of fracture
properties of mixture in the field. Finally, the UF research team recently
completed development of a method to quantify healing potential of mixture.
These unique tools and capabilities, as well as knowledge and experience
associated with the mechanisms become invaluable in dealing with the cracking
performance of binder and degradation of cracking performance of mixture,
including loss of healing potential (i.e., aging)

主讲内容简介:
On transportation networks with travel time uncertainties, the shortest path may suffer from long delay and hence the optimal path turns out to be an optimal policy/strategy which results in a group of potentially optimal paths. Under the context of route guidance, this study deals with navigate drivers with hyperpath which is beneficial to both users and systems. The presentation will firstly talk about the problem and mathematical models, then the efficient solving algorithms and finally our practice efforts in creating a navigation application named “HyperNav” and some evaluations from users and system aspects.
