主讲人简介:

陆庆,南佛罗里达大学土木与环境工程系副教授。研究重点包括可持续交通基础设施的设计和管理,主要为道路系统、路面结构和沥青材料。担任《Transportation Research Part D Transport and Environment》杂志副主编,中国基础设施专业人员国际协会(IACIP)学术委员会主席,ASCE EMI路面力学委员会成员,以及多家杂志的编委会成员。获得东南大学公路与城市道路工程学士学位,加州大学伯克利分校土木工程博士学位和统计学硕士学位。在加入南佛罗里达大学之前,他是加州大学路面研究中心(UCPRC)的项目科学家和实验室经理,加州注册土木工程师。

主讲内容简介:

Porous asphalt mixture features a high permeability and is primarily used on pavement surface to reduce vehicle hydroplaning or stormwater runoff. The mixture may also offer additional functional and environmental benefits such as noise reduction through appropriate design. This talk presents recent research efforts in testing and analyzing porous asphalt mixture to improve its acoustic performance, durability, and environmental sustainability. Laboratory experiments were performed to evaluate the mixture performance in terms of permeability, surface texture, resistance to raveling, tensile strength, and sound absorption. A mechanistic-empirical model was developed for tire-pavement noise based on mixture design parameters. The potential of incorporating renewable or waste materials into the mixture was also evaluated.
